Our students end their education with a 30 week internship (Lärande I Arbete). The Class of 09 is our second batch of game developers and they start their 30 weeks at the 29th of August. I´ve been a bit, but just a bit, troubled over that I would have to call them all summer to see if they´ve their placements but no. I have been working with educations like thsi for many years and I have never experienced a faster process.

There are many reasons for this. First of all we all work hard with making games and our students are doing a good job showing them off in their portfolios.

Then we, as an education, work hard with our relation with the gaming industry. Our students get to meet all kind of companies at Meet and Greet and at Nordic Game Conference. We also have companies asking to come and visit. This fall we are looking forward to welcome Christoffer Sundberg, CEO at Avalanche studios. ;)

But we should not forget that we have one class out there paving the road for all of us. You can find the Class of 08 all over. We work hard keeping track of them and they are The Game Assembly ambassadors for ever. I think that our The Game Assembly-LinkedIn-group is going to be one of the most exclusive groups in the gaming industry in a couple of years.

Last but not least…we have the best teachers you can find in the game education world. Niklas, Kostas, Danny, Lars-Ove and Martin, what would we do without you?
