TGA nominated in the category Creative Industry

Now it´s official!

The finalists for the five Malmö Industry prices has been nominated. The Game Assembly is one of the finalists in the category Creative Industry.

The 27th of February we will know at the festive Malmö Industry Gala.

We are nominated together with another Advanced Vocational Education here in Malmö and we go under the namn “Modern Creative Education”.

I´m not sure how to interpret the word modern but I choose to think they mean that we work hard on sharing and having good relations with the industry we are cooperating with. Working in the game development industry, we know that creating a game is team work all the way. It´s not always easy but what relationship is? It takes time and patience but in the end it´s very rewarding and for us the only way we want to work.

We often talk about passion for games, and that we have. But what we work with is professionalism and with that we mean sharing, cooperating and owning our own competence development.

As you all see we identify our selves as part of the game development industry. The Game Assembly is certainly a player in the game cluster ecosystem here in the Öresund region. We find and select students with the right drive, dedication and determination to become game developers and we prepare them for their dream job. Not everybody stays in Malmö after graduation but that´s ok. Just as long we remain here with open arms and welcome them back, either if they just want to say hello, give a lecture or look fo a job. But I must say our Linked in group is rather a impressive gang of game developers.

It is always rewarding to get noticed for hard work.
