New programs at The Game Assembly

The Game Assembly starts up in Karlshamn in October 2009 with the new Program Casual Games – Entrepreneurship and Production, 40 weeks
This program is for those with an experience from Game Industry and / or Game Education with an interest for being a co worker or an entrepreneur in the Computer Game segment Casual Games.
The program has two important parts, entrepreneurship and production.
Take part in the greenhouse for Casual Games with teachers, instructors and lectures from the game industry. We will be working together with the game incubator Gameport and have superb connections within the Games Industry.

and in Malmö with the new program

Middle Level Management in Digital Creative Industry, 20 weeks (distance)
This program is for you with an experience from Creative Industry and who wants to extend your skills in middle level management for example, lead, assistant producor in a game development company.
To attend this course you need to have a host company from where you start out your trainee period day one. For example you already got a job in the creative business and this company want´s you to expand your knowledge in middle management and join this course for 20 weeks.

We would prefer to see that the applicant has a strong technical interest, good computer experience. We look for those that seek a challenge and look at every day as an opportunity to learn something new. As an applicant, we’re actively looking for those who work well with others and have an open mind for new ideas which you are able to constructively criticize. Applications should include work samples and a personal letter. Prior to acceptance, we will hold an advanced interview and admission process.
