TGA student's artworks featured at GDC 2011
Oscar Sjöstedt’s 3D work “Soldat” was featured in mental images’s GDC2011 presentation “Building Photorealistic Shaders with mental mill® and iray®”.
Since the fall of 2008 we have been using mental images’s software mental mill for our Game Art student’s shader courses. It allows us to easily work with real-time shaders for Autodesk® Maya® in a very visual and intuitive node based working environment.
It is great for all the Game Art students to get a better understanding for how real-time shaders work and get an introduction into authoring these shaders themselves.
