This is the 08 students very first game. Since we wanted the students to get started with making games the very first week they arrived here at school we gave them the task to create a simple text adventure game. To add a bit of extra flare to the game we gave them the possibility to add a few selected 2D images in their games.

The game was created using the Alan Interactive Fiction programming language. Alan is an easy programming language to get started with and caters for the specific purpose of creating text based games.

Here is a downloadable package containing the highest ranked games. The ranking was done by having the students play and evaluate the games themselves. The titles in this package, “Silent Night”, “The Goo From Fluff” and “Shades of Grey”.
